Description
Alpha carbon coarse bottoming taps have a UNC imperial thread and are manufactured to be used for either machine or hand applications as well as production work.
Features:
- Designed to tap into aluminium, brass, copper and steel
- Used for tapping into blind holes with the two threaded lead
- These bottoming taps must always be used alongside lubricant to aid in chip removal and lessen the friction binding
- Providing a continuous cutting edge with almost no taper
