Description
Alpha intermediate hand taps have a BSPF British standard pipe (G series) imperial thread and are made from high grade HSS material. They are manufactured to ISO and DIN Standards.
Features:
- Suitable for use in medium tensile materials for general machine or hand operation
- The angle of thread is mostly a 55° angle, whilst the US method threads have a 60° angle
- They cut a thread true to a pre-drilled pilot hole
- This pipe thread is generally used when mechanical coupling
